4th week in Year 5!

This week has been focusing on the life of Katherine Johnson, another character from our book 'Hidden Figures'. The children have researched about Mrs Johnson's life, they have planned and written a biography with all information gathered. Some spectacular writing has been presented! All children have worked extremely hard.

As always, the children have been trying really hard in Maths. This week they focused on subtracting whole numbers with more than 4 digits, estimation & approximation, and addition and subtraction word problems.

It's lovely to see their confidence grow week by week in all areas!smiley
